Liverpool is especially well-known for its football clubs FC Liverpool and FC Everton. But there is more that makes the English coast town well worth a visit: Liverpool's Maritime Mercantile City have been UNCESCO World Heritage since 2004 and the town calls one of the most thriving music scenes in Britain its own. Among others said scene 'gave birth' to Liverpool's other big success story: the Beatles.
